Starring as Peeta Mellark in the Hunger Games, Josh Hutcherson is everything like his lovable onscreen character: charming, well spoken, intelligent…and styled by the hottest hair and make-up artists the industry has to offer.
“You have to hire someone to get a look like this,” admitted Hutcherson while in attendance at the 23rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards. “I can’t do it all on my own.”
The American actor told our RCT reporter, Carly Steel, that his personal style is inspired by the clean and classy looks of the sixties and seventies. When trying to make a fashion statement, the trending Hollywood star said he likes to keep it old school.
“I’m all about tank tops,” he joked while on the red carpet, “They are cool and comfortable and happening.”
For over 25 years, The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) has worked with news, entertainment and social media to bring culture-changing stories of LGBT people into millions of homes and workplaces every day, ensuring positive images while working to cultivate acceptance, understanding and support. Hutcherson was the recipient of the Vanguard Award for his involvement in the Straight But Not Narrow campaign, which provides a voice for misunderstood lesbian, gay, transgender and bisexual communities.
