For over 25 years, The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) has worked with news, entertainment and social media to bring culture-changing stories of LGBT people into millions of homes and workplaces every day, ensuring positive images while working to cultivate acceptance, understanding and support. Elliott was proud to lend her support to her television series which was nominated for Outstanding Individual Episode (in a series without a regular LGBT character). “I was really excited and I’ve never had the opportunity to go to go the GLAAD Awards before and it is an important night,” she said. “I’m really excited we got nominated and I think we did a great job.”
For the big night, Elliott hung up her sporty look of sweats and Converse and wore a fabulous 50’s inspired black dress with a bow around the waist. For her, obtaining the waist she desires is a necessity for her red carpet look. She paired the black number with red pumps and a red clutch.
As for her flawless makeup she gives all the credit to Kathy Highland, her makeup artist, as well as L’Oreal’s Double Extend Mascara, which is her red carpet must have. She “loves the way it makes your lashes stand up” and guarantees that it is the perfect addition to any red carpet look!
