Bradley Whitford proved to be quite the funny man when he joined Celebrity Designer Charlie Lapson on the red carpet for the CBGB movie premiere. When we asked him about going back in time to film the movie about the legendary CBGB club, he noted going there a few times in the 70’s but he only “sort of remember[ed].”
In regards to music from that era, he talked about the shifts in the styles from that artistry. From disco, which was neat and polished, music ventured into a more “gritty, drive-the-tank-though-the-wall” atmosphere. As he recalled, “It was fun.”
It’s been a busy year for the The West Wing alumnus! He can be seen in the Disney flick, Saving Mr. Banks along side Emma Thompson, as well as ABC’s freshman sitcom, Trophy Wife. His CBGB co-star, Malin Akerman plays his third wife in the new series, while Oscar winner Marcia Gay Harden plays one of his exes. Don’t miss it Tuesdays at 9:30pm on ABC!
