Top Designers of The Red Carpet: Celebrity Predictions

After scouring every fashion week across the country we have narrowed down our top designers that we expect to see on our favorite celebrities on Oscar Sunday.

Tadashi Shoji produced an epic and romantic runway show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week showcasing our top favorites, from elegant lace to chiffon pieces every look made for a best dressed. Marchesa showcased elegant evening gowns fit for any Oscar Nominee, any of the top stars could be seen on the red carpet wearing a Marchesa and easily win a ranking in our top best dressed list. Elie Saab went for neutral tones and pastels for his line that will appear on the famous and elite, we expect to see the younger celebrity guests looking glamorous in Elie Saab.

Below we have put together our Oscar predictions, with pieces right off the runway from our selected designers.

Michelle Williams may be channeling her inner Marilyn Monroe for her nominated award as Best Actress for My Week With Marilyn. We have selected a Marchesa piece from the Fall 2012 line, showcasing a regal and classic gown fit for glamorous look. The color accentuates a perfect era in time that can be taken as an iconic Marilyn look and also focusing on the perfect silhouette of a woman.

Natalie Portman always goes for classic and timeless; based on current runway and most recent award shows the women have been going for a more romantic look. We are hoping Natalie Portman decides to jump on the fashion train and go with a more whimsical look that will completely take her from chic to a glamorous red carpet number. The Tadashi Shoji dress we selected has an angelic and romantic vibe that we could definitely see Miss Portman wearing at this year’s Oscar Awards Ceremony. Other celebrity guests that would also compliment this look well are; Kate Hudson, Lea Michele and Emma Watson.

Emma Stone has been shown mostly in Calvin Klein this season and we hope that for the Oscars she may branch out to another designer. After viewing the Eli Saab Collection we have selected a soft blue long sleeve pastel dress with head to toe embellishments that would flatter Miss Stone as she walks the red carpet for the ceremony. Whether she stays blonde or red with her hair color this dress will compliment both looks and her soft features.
