The Dresden Room – A Hollywood Gem

The Dresden Room is an entertainment treasure that has been a staple landmark since the 1950’s.

This is one of the only places you can find in Hollywood where celebrities work and play.

The interior has been untouched since 1954 and walking through the front doors is like taking a time machine back to the golden ages of Hollywood. Frank Sinatra was a frequent guest and today, A-lister’s such as Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks and Al Pacino visit the Dresden Room.

The Dresden Room is very well-known for being the location of many feature films…

Swingers, 1996, featuring Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn

That Thing You Do, 1996, featuring Tom Hanks, Liv Tyler and Tom Everett Scott

What Women Want, 2000, featuring Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt

One of the main highlights of the Dresden Room is the long-lasting musical act of Marty and Elayne, who have been performing there since 1982. Many times when a celebrity visits for a night out, they join Marty and Elayne for a song!

The menu is described as American and Continental in the dining area but the lounge area has appetizers and a two drink minimum if you’re there for the show.

Check out the The Dresden Room and definitely visit this Hollywood gem if you’re in the Los Angeles area!
