The Cast of HBO’s Emmy Winning ‘Veep’ Talk Fashion at the GBK Style Lounge

On Veep they play the staff to Julia Louis Dreyfus‘s vice president, Selina Meyer. But for us, Reid Scott, Matt Walsh, and Sufe Bradshaw became fashion-and-style-tip-giving gurus at this year’s GBK Celebrity Style Lounge.

Reid Scott says he’s just a guy’s guy:

Scott, who plays Dan Egan, the VP’s deputy director of communications, had one crucial red carpet tip: “keep it simple.” He himself was wearing a J.Crew farmer boy’s shirt, old Levi’s jeans, and just a hint of fancy with some John Varvatos shoes. It’s a casual yet chic look for men.

As for beauty products this “guy’s guy” simply uses Vaseline men’s lotion for his face. He also mentions Harry’s Razors, an online store where you can purcharse razors, blades, and shaving cream and have them delivered to your door!

Matt Walsh gives us his get-ready essentials:

Donning a tartan print fedora Walsh says he found “on a table in New York City for seven dollars, right by the subway stop,” the comedian joined us to talk style, comfort, and men’s grooming. His first words of advice: “when you’re talking shoes, go for comfort.”

In terms of grooming Walsh recommended to spray on some perfume, use Kiehl’s products, shave with a disposable razor, and wear sunscreen (always). When traveling, his go-to bag contains the basic necessities: a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, some lotion and sunscreen. As for underwear and socks, you can buy them “in whatever city you’re living in.” It’s efficient to travel light.

The lovely Sufe Bradshaw enjoys a bargain shopping session:

Wearing a sexy animal print top (from Nordstrom Rack) and a pink Forever 21 lipstick, Bradshaw gladly shared her favorite inexpensive products. She openly admits bargain shopping is key when coming from a big family, or hey, just to save money.

The three products she enjoys using most: cocoa butter, pink oil, and Burt’s bees. About Palmer’s cocoa butter, she says “it goes a very long way.” While Luster’s Pink Oil Moisturizer is a good moisturizer, it doubles as product for her hair. As for the Burt’s Bees beeswax, she loves it because it’s versatile. “You can dress it up, dress it down,” informed Sufe, who plays the VP’s executive assistant Sue
