Sheryl Lee Ralph, founder and host of Divas Simply Singing, was able to chat with our very own Chiedza Mavangira about her fierce fashion and her big event on the evening of World Aids Day.
Sheryl looked retro-Hollywood glamorous in a shimmering crimson gown, adorned with a pair of classic hoops by Charlie Lapson. His collection completed her ensemble; “I love this whole look… it just works,” exclaimed the sensational diva.
Shifting over to make-up, her velvety lips were made possible by Iman‘s red lipstick. To add some sparkle, there was a layer of glitter above the color. While she was sporting flawless make-up, she does advise to use a “great baby wipe” and “take it all off,” before a diva gets her rest.
On a more serious note, Ralph wanted viewers to know Divas Simply Singing stands “as a living, breathing memorial to the many friends that I have lost to HIV and AIDS… to help fight stigma, shame and break the silence around AIDS one song, one diva at a time.” Beautifully spoken.
