Hollywood designer Charlie Lapson had the pleasure of catching up with the lovely sibling duo: Michael and Stephanie Grant at the Los Angeles Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Festival. The event was headlined by American Hustle director David O. Russell and Criminals Minds star, Joe Mantegna.
We first chatted with Michael, who has starred on The Secret Life of the American Teenager, and recently appears on the Golden Globe award winning comedy, Brooklyn Nine-Nine. As for what’s in store for this actor’s future, he is currently working on an indie film as well as an undisclosed project soon to air on Lifetime.
Grant was eager to show us what he was wearing on the red carpet. Sporting a Dolce & Gabbana skinny tie with a Perry Ellis suit and Hugo Boss dress shoes, he looked stylish and sophisticated. While he did admit to normally wearing “geeky khaki shorts and old polo shirts”, Grant has a casual sense of style. He confessed that he would spend shopping spree money at Rag & Bone and 7 Diamonds.
Joining Grant on the red carpet was none other than his younger sister, Stephanie Katherine Grant. Grant mentioned that she “love[s] to mix and match,” revealing that she matches old pants with new shirts. The young starlet looked adorable with her natural curls let down. Grant was sporting a high-collar jeweled metallic dress which she effortlessly paired with silver bangles and a chic black saddlebag from Nordstrom. She finished her look with Tarte makeup, which was subtle and age appropriate on the actress.
Stephanie currently has a recurring role on ABC’S freshmen retro-comedy, The Goldbergs, starring Wendi McLendon-Covey and Jeff Garlin. Along with being a young Hollywood star on the rise, Grant shared that when she is not in front of the cameras, she spends most of her time sewing, reading, or attending school.
