Inn of the Seventh Ray

Tucked in Topanga Canyon off the notorious 101 freeway, the Inn Of the Seventh Ray is truly a Los Angeles gem.

Once you exit the freeway you’re taken on a journey through the canyons to a local hideaway. This intimate and ethereal location may be the most romantic place in California. The Inn was a private estate in the 1930 and then transferred owners. The current owners restored the location to a tranquil oasis, perfect for a warm spring day in Los Angeles.

My experience at The Inn was a wonderful day with the girls in my family. My mother researched a few locations and found the perfect spot for our outing. When you first arrive at the breathtaking Inn Of The Seventh Ray, you’re immediately whisked away to a happy place. The calm, tranquil environment made me feel as if I was entering an estate cottage. I almost felt like I was intruding on a private wedding ceremony, because it was so perfectly set up.Each table had a unique picturesque feel. There are several hidden tables at The Inn; one is inside by a fire place, candlelit for the perfect ‘I Do’ moment. The second is outside near the natural spring. The table is surrounded with tiny elegant lights, and other tables decorated with elegant canopies and firefly lights. The scene is perfect for any group gathering.

We sat at a table with a peach canopy adorned with green intertwined flowers. Nearby, small victorian fountains give a soothing trickle while we dined.  While dinning I couldn’t take my eyes of the decor and natural beauty that The Inn has to offer, by the end I wanted to move in permanently. They assured me that The Inn wasn’t accepting any residents, but that I could take a little bit of The Inn with me in pictures.
