Host of The 3rd Annual GMCLA Voice Awards Pauley Perrette

In high spirits, Pauley Perrette spoke to our red carpet host Sheri Nadel before hosting the Third Annual Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles Voice Awards. She was equally excited to share hosting duties with “brother” Lance Bass and use their “voices for good and for equality.”

As a straight ally, Perrette wants to make sure advocates remember “civil rights is for everyone.” She also expressed how proud she is of certain landmarks in LGBT rights including openly gay sports players and the overturn of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”

The self-proclaimed “5-minute-get-ready” gal gladly discussed her nonchalant approach to fashion. In fact, according to her, she waits until the last minute to get ready. Most of her dresses, including the black halter top cocktail dress she wore, are from Out of the Closet–“Because one-hundred percent of the money goes to AIDS healthcare foundation.”

And of course, her best accessories: tattoos. The ink adornments range from crosses to the infinity symbol to a few smiley faces. So are even sentimental like the angels on her shoulders representing her mother and grandmother. While others are inspirational like her favorite Bible verse tattooed on her left ring finger.

Lastly, in terms of fashion and style tips, the NCIS starlet tells our viewers to “just have fun.”
