While the guys mixed between suits and casual wear, the ladies brought their A-fashion game to the 15th Annual Young Hollywood Awards held at The Broad Stage in Santa Monica. This year marks the first time the Aisha Tyler hosted event was televised, courtesy of The CW.
Monochromatic and metallic cocktail dresses were some of the night’s biggest trends, thanks to the girls of Hollywood. Of the single toned dresses, none was more memorable and stunning than Kelly Osbourne‘s bold canary ensemble. The “Style Icon” Award recipient accessorized her gown with gold studded pumps, golden triangle earrings, and a matching clutch.
The night’s double honoree–for Fan Favorite Album Award and Most Anticipated Tour Award-–Selena Gomez went with the always classic, black. The singer had some edge to her Versace gown with leather accents and some Jimmy Choo shoes. Also classy in black (and white), was Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale. She opted for a lace, sleeveless Joy Cioci gown. Her look was completed with a silver Peggy Hartanto belt, an Eddie Parker clutch and Le Silla shoes.
Another trend of the night was printed dresses! Female Superstar of Tomorrow winner, AnnaSophia Robb opted for a unique, beautiful butterfly designed Pucci creation. AnnaSophia’s cream and pink ensemble came together with shimmering Stuart Weitzman shoes, David Yurman jewelry, and a gold Jimmy Choo clutch.
As for the guys, gray seemed to be their color of the night, at least it was for the likes of Ian Somerhalder, Kit Harington, and Dave Franco. Actor of the Year winner Harington, from Game of Thrones, sported a plaid charcoal suit, midnight blue shirt, and a black tie. And the equally handsome Franco wore a light gray piece, with a blue and red shirt. It’s always refreshing to see the men have fun with fashion on the red carpet!
