The unforgettable Glee star, Max Adler, shares his stylish side with us on the red carpet of the 23rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards. Portraying David Karofsky on the show, we see the high school ‘jock’ exterior, but Max’s own personal style is much more than that. We asked him about his personal style from high school and now, as the star he has become.
“When I was in high school in Arizona, it was so hot,” explained Adler, “I’d rock the sandals, khaki shorts, Hawaiian shirts, puka beads, that was my high school attire.”
He told our RCT reporter, Carly Steel, that his personal style now is more about layers, keeping it simple, using color and the most essential part; having one thing in his ensemble that “pops”!
For over 25 years, The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) has worked with news, entertainment and social media to bring culture-changing stories of LGBT people into millions of homes and workplaces every day, ensuring positive images while working to cultivate acceptance, understanding and support. Representing the show and its nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series, Adler spoke to the importance of the evening. “To get to do what I love, acting, but also have it mean something to so many people and inspire people and change lives and change perspectives is probably the best thing any actor can ask for,” he said.
Adler referred to the outfit he was wearing as an example, “this fun, pink tie that pops and this standard blue suit”
