Magazine editor, fashion consultant and stylist George Kotsiopoulos knows the ins and outs of fashion. With the help of Joan Rivers, Giuliana Rancic and Kelly Osbourne, Kotsiopoulos scrutinizes the fashion choices of Hollywood’s hottest stars on E! Entertainment Television’s series Fashion Police. So, it is no surprise that at the 23rd annual GLAAD Media Awards Kotsiopoulos showed up looking fabulous and willing to share his fashion insight with RCT reporter Carly Steel.

In working with news outlets, the entertainment industry and social media to bring culture-changing stories of LGBT people into millions of homes and workplaces every day, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) has ensured positive images while working to cultivate acceptance, understanding and support for over 25 years.

On the red carpet, Kotsiopoulos took advantage of the pop of color trend sporting some bright green pants. Despite the “Earth week coincidence” George states that the reason he made such a bold fashion choice was simply because “They’re cute!”However, do not run off and get your colored slacks just yet. Kotsiopoulos advices men that when it comes to giving your wardrobe a pop of color don’t be so bold, start with a tie, a pocket square, or a sock. “A sock is a good way, a subtle way to add a pop of color”.

Don’t worry ladies, he didn’t leave you out. His fashion must have for the season is the waist peplum. With the “new found emphasis on the waist” the peplum is the perfect way to make you look thinner and stand out.
