Richard Dreyfuss talks style at the 2012 Night of 100 Stars Gala.
Richard Dreyfuss has been acting for nearly 50 years. The star is famous for his roles in films like Mr. Holland’s Opus, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Jaws, and The Goodbye Girl, which earned him an Oscar award. When asked what he does with the trophy, he told our red carpet reporter, Stacey Gualandi, that he stores it in his fridge. “I didn’t want to show it off, but I wanted everyone to know that I had it” joked Dreyfuss.
Dreyfuss hardly considers himself a style maven. His one tip for us: “Try not to have broccoli in your teeth.” It seems that this simple advice has steered him well during his long career.
Garry Marshall shows off his classic fashion at the 2012 Night of 100 Stars Gala.
In his 40-plus years in the business, Garry Marshall’s done it all. Among his many credits, the versatile funny man directed Pretty Woman, appeared in Murphy Brown, wrote for The Dick Van Dyke Show, and produced Happy Days.
When we caught up with Garry at the Oscars, he told us, “I love all the styles, that’s why I’m here…I can cast here, a lot of very talented people are here.” The 78-year-old actor has a classic style and likes to keep a handkerchief on his person at all times. “I didn’t bring the monogram handkerchiefs because you don’t want to mess them up,” said Marshall, “but I got regular handkerchiefs.”
