From the E! Network‘s Chelsea Lately and After Lately, comedians Heather McDonald & Fortune Feimster brought their fashion A-game to the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Award. The funny gals not only shared the red carpet, they also share an office, hence their status as “Office Wives.”
The comic duo looked stellar on the red carpet wearing their respective styles, and had us laughing..and laughing…and laughing. McDonald, author of My Inappropriate Life, donned a black vintage sequin gown paired with Prada shoes. Feimster opted for a more relaxing look unofficially sponsored by GAP!
Just how much do these comic geniuses’ styles differ? Well, Fortune refers to Heather as her “very feminine, lipstick, non-lesbian wife.” Yet, McDonald jokingly insists she’s “slowly turning [Fortune] into a gay man.”
While one takes five minutes for make-up, and the other an hour and a half, they did mention some of their favorite get-ready products. Ms. McDonald said she loves Chanel’s facial cream and bronzer, as well as, Mac lipliner, and individual fake lashes. It turns out putting on those lashes is her “God-given gift!” “It’s very impressive, even I can appreciate it,” quipped her Office wife, Fortune.
All jokes aside, both expressed how great it is to have support from straight, well-known celebrities–like President Bill Clinton, Charlize Theron— because it means progress, and equal representation for everyone. Well said, ladies!
