Television celebrity chef Stuart O’Keeffe‘s bio on his website (http://stuartokeeffe.com/aboutstuart/) begins “I learned very early that to feed means to love.” Small wonder, then, that he wouldn’t miss the GLAAD Hancock Park: Top Chef Invasion event for anything. The Food Network Private Chefs of Beverly Hills star and Tipperary native came out to the event in support of GLAAD‘s tireless efforts to advance the cause of the LGBT community.
Of course he also came to sample high-profile food. “It’s strange that I’m not cooking it!” he joked. O’Keeffe was invited to the event by his friend Peter Marc Jacobson, co-host and former husband of the event’s host, Fran Drescher. The Irish boy looked laid-back in a plaid button-down and jeans. He also enjoys coming to GLAAD events for another reason: he loves the L.A. food scene. “You have access to every type of food here,” he says. “Everything’s pretty much in season all the time, because you have the climate.”
Of his upcoming products, O’Keeffe says he’s returning to TV soon. He’ll be appearing on Home Made Simple with host Paige Davis on OWN.
