2014 Academy Awards: Sandra Bullock, Angelina Jolie and Cate Blanchett make our best dressed

It was a rainy Oscar Sunday, but Hollywood A-listers dressed to impress as they strutted down the iconic red carpet. These were some of our favorite looks worn by the ladies at The 86th Annual Academy Awards hosted by Ellen Degeneres.

Sandra Bullock, a best actress nominee for Gravity, was classic Hollywood in a navy Alexander McQueen and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. The side-swept hairdo with lose curls emphasized the retro-glamour feel.

Bullock’s fellow lead actress competitor, Amy Adams, up for her work in American Hustle, looked elegant in blue. Adams donned a structured Gucci Premiere dress which called for minimal accessories. In fact, Adams paired her gown with teardrop ruby earrings from Tiffany & Co.

Oscar Winner Charlize Theron was a statuesque beauty in a black Dior gown. Theron accessorized with Harry Winston jewels, namely a diamond necklace, and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Lupita Nyong’o delivered one final memorable red carpet look for this awards season. Nyong’o wore a light blue, Grecian-style, custom Prada dress, with a beaded train. Her ensemble was completed with Fred Leighton jewelry and a gold headband.

Matthew McConaughey‘s wife, Brazilian model Camila Alves, was simply stunning in a over-the-shoulder draped, pink Gabriela Cadena frock, Charlotte Olympia shoes, and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Two-time Oscar nominee, Bette Midler, was there to make her Oscar stage debut as she paid tribute during the “In Memoriam” segment with her Grammy winning ballad, “Wind Beneath My Wings.” The Divine Miss M looked radiant in a red lace Reem Acra number, a Rauwolf bag, Brian Atwood shoes, and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Pink, née Alecia Moore, took the stage for the first time to perform a beautiful tribute to The Wizard of Oz. The singer wore a sparkling, deep red Elie Saab haute couture dress to match Dorothy’s infamous red slippers, and Forevermark jewels.

Cate Blanchett, who took home a second Oscar for her lead performance in Blue Jasmine, dazzled in a nude Armani Privé number accented with Swarovski crystals. The look was completed with Chopard earrings, and shoes from Roger Vivier.

Angelina Jolie was sensationally sparkling in a nude and gold Elie Saab dress. The smoky-eyed beauty also sported Robert Procop jewelry and a Ferragamo clutch and shoes.
